Microsoft Learning and Accessibility Booth: 2018 Educause Conference
Accessibility is one of Microsoft’s guiding values, but the technological advancements built into software often go unnoticed. We were tasked with telling the story of Microsoft’s commitment to accessible tools in a way that was engaging, show stopping, and educational. Armed only with a list of these tools (and the best designers and technologists in the biz), we brought that story to life in a 15 x 15 footprint with inclusive illustrations and an interactive touch wall accessibility quiz.
I worked with an art director to brainstorm the booth design, including the concepting the interactive touch wall and creation of the quiz format. I was also responsible for all copy touchpoints at the experience, from the wall UX copy to the quiz to all event signage.

The quiz
A choose-your-own-adventure style quiz let attendees through a series of everyday situations engineered to show event guests how inclusive design affects all of us.
